Yuu Akagi is a retired Japanese actress, gravure model, and pro wrestler. She is best known for her time in the BATTLE organization. Her accomplishments include being a former B-1 Champion.

Akagi's wrestling career was a tale of different paths. In 2015, she was a rookie who quickly became a champion with a quiet yet dignified personality that ended too soon. In 2019, she made a brief comeback in a quiet yet aggressive manner that also ended abruptly.
BATTLE (2015) (2019)[]
Debut & Champion[]
Akagi made her debut and secured a win over Kanako Minamoto. Then at Fighting Girls 13: Spring Thunder, Akagi received the biggest push of her career and defeated Panther Risako to win the B-1 Championship. She would have a successful title defense against rookie wrestler Yuzuki Nanao and looked to be a rising star in the making.
Short-Lived Run & Departure[]
However, Akagi's biggest challenge came at Fighting Girls 14: BATTLE Anniversary against “Miss X” aka Hitomi Aragaki in a losing effort. This would be her final appearance before vacating the title in August 2015.
Brief Comeback[]
In March 2019, Akagi returned to BATTLE after a four-year absence where she took on a wrestler named Maya. Soon afterward, she officially parted ways from the organization by the end of the month.
K-Cat Project[]
Although Akagi did make an appearance for the K-Cat Project, none of the content featuring her has been released publicly. Her only opponent was Sara Ichinose in a strap match as part of the first volume of "Fighting Dreamer".
Other Media[]
Akagi was involved in the entertainment industry until her 2023 retirement.
