The Xtreme Championship (formerly known as the Extreme Championship) originally debuted in December 2013 following Seiko Iida's win in the Heel Villainous Tournament. Following Iida's retirement, the green belt was vacant until December 5, 2014. Tsugumi Muto won the belt in the inaugural Extreme Tournament. The green belt is designed for a hardcore division and is defended under Extreme/No DQ rules. With a few exceptions, the belt is more suited for heel wrestlers.
