The Fighting Girls Championship was created on December 22, 2012. The iconic pink belt is treated as the world championship for Fighting Girls International. The belt originally belonged to the defunct Fighting Girls organization when it was replaced by the BWP in late 2016. The belt's lineage continues under the FGI banner.
