Battle World Pro-Wrestling 08: HOLY WAR was a live event presented by the BWP on December 12, 2020. It is the eighth installment of the BWP live series since its 2016 inception.
The opening match sees BWP's Ariya Narimiya defeating Aoi Mizutani from SSS. The second match sees Arisu Toyonaka losing to Akari Niimura. The third match is a heated bout between Arisu Otsu and Tsukasa Nagano with Otsu picking up the decisive win.
The event features a double championship main event. In the semi-main, Ham @ Tachibana defended and retained her SSS Championship against BWP's Misato Nonomiya. The main event is a Double Title Match as Ako Momona defended, retained, and became the new champion over Arisa Kawasaki where the BWP & B-1 Championships are on the line. Momona also made history by becoming the 1st Quadruple Crown Champion while holding the FG & BATTLE Heavyweight belts in addition to the BWP and B-1 belts.
As a special surprise for the live audience, YUE made an appearance and challenged Momona to an impromptu match. In the end, Momona defeated her arch-rival to cement herself as the undisputed champion of BATTLE.
