Pro Style Catfight Wiki

Akari Niimura is a Japanese AV actress, boxer, and pro wrestler. She currently works as a freelancer who is affiliated with various organizations. For the BATTLE organization, Niimura is a member of the Super Sonic Satellites roster. She is the current SSS Champion in her first reign. In 2023, Niimura became the ace for TM Fighting Project, a newly established indie catfight wrestling promotion.

Character Bio[]

Billed from: Kyoto Prefecture, Japan

Alignment: Heel

Niimura left a lasting impression as a star in the underground women's wrestling scene. Despite her sexy appearance, Niimura is a full-fletched villain who loves to cheat and will use a chain when given an opportunity. She is also not afraid to put on the gloves and compete in boxing matches both live and non-live events.

BATTLE (2020-)[]

Although she lost to Kanon Nakajo in her debut match, Niimura bounced back with a win over Nozomi Haneda, who had her final match before retiring. In her first live wrestling event, Niimura defeated Arisu Toyonaka at BWP 08. In late 2020, she wrestled Ham @ Tachibana in a chain death match.

SSS Champion & Partnership[]

For most of 2021, Niimura had a string of matches with Tsukasa Nagano trading wins and losses. Following the vacancy of the SSS Championship, the SSS group bestowed Niimura as their new ace heading into Fighting Girls International 01. Following her title victory over Himari Ayase, Niimura proposed a partnership with Nozomi Arimura to takedown BWP. In October, Niimura teamed with Ichigo Suzuya in a losing effort to Ariya Narimiya and Ai Kawana in the main event at BWP NEXT 07. However, Team SSS would get the last laugh beating down the two ladies and sending a message to BWP, Arisu Otsu, and YUE. However, the partnership between the two would end following their losses to Otsu and YUE separately at BWP 09: CLIMAX.

Allied Forces Reformed[]

Despite the aftermath, Niimiura and Arimura would put their differences aside in unity for the Allied Forces. For the second time at BWP NEXT 08, Niimura was involved in another tag match teaming with a returning Ako Momona to defeat Nana Maeno and Aina Nagase in the main event.

BATTLE Champions Tournament & Rivalry[]

Niimura took on B-1 Champion Otsu in the quarterfinals of the BATTLE Champions Tournament as part of A-Block. During the match, Noa Nanami interfered in the match to assist Niimura whose motivation was to take down the BWP. The heat between the two champions resulted in another match that took place at Fighting Girls International 02 where Niimura scored another win.

Chains & More Chains[]

It is no secret that Niimura loves chains and she used them against Hinami Meguro at BWP 10: Heroines Assemble in a chain death match though it would result in a loss for the chain expert. She also wrestled Hikaru Minazuki in a special single match in the same month where chains were included and got the win.

BATTLE Champions Semi-finals[]

Following her victory over Otsu in the first round with a little help from Nanami, Niimura takes on BWP Champion Maeno in the semifinal for A-block. Despite her best effort (by cheating), Niimura was defeated by the BWP Champion and dropped out of the tournament.

Fueled by Revenge[]

The rivalry between Maeno and Niimura also took place in boxing. In the main event of BWP Boxing 06, Niimura was knocked out by Maeno. It was announced at BWP Boxing 07, that the two competitors collided once again in the main event with the vacant BATTLE Queen Boxing Championship on the line where Niimura was defeated once again. Things only got more personal between the two champions in another bout at FGI 03 resulting in another loss for the SSS Champ. After getting a much-needed win over Akari Nonoka at BWP Boxing 08, Niimura came out after the main event to confront Maeno and is looking for another match.

For most of 2023, Niimura has fought various opponents such as a tag team win over Meguro and Mio Nozaki and a win over a returning Satsuki Toyooka. She has also developed a somewhat partnership with fellow SSS member Nagano. At BWP 11, Niimura is facing off against Arisa Kawasaki for the first time live and their first encounter since 2021 for K-Cat. Unlike in the steel cage match, Arimura came up short and lost to Kawasaki.

BATTE Champions Tournament 2[]

Unlike her previous performance from last year, BATTLE Champions Tournament 2023-24 Season came to an end for Niimura when she lost to Arimura in the quarterfinal of A-block.

BWP vs Allied Forces[]

In April 2024, Niimura and Arimura would soon team up in tag action against BWP's Maeno and Nonoka. Not surprisingly, the Allied Forces used chains, kendo sticks, and a metal bin to punish the babyface team with such animosity. In the end, Niimura and Arimura picked the win and enjoyed humiliating their opponents.

Infinity X (2021-2022)[]

Along with Saya Minami, Niimura made her debut for Infinity X in both wrestling and boxing. In November 2022, Niimura was scheduled to face Anka Suzune but dropped out due to health issues. Instead, newcomer Ena Kasuga became the new opponent much to Niimura's disappointment.

K-Cat Project (2021)[]

First Time Ever[]

In April 2021, Niimura made history by defeating Kawasaki in the first-ever Steel Cage Match also known as the "Queen's Fight Wire Net Death Match". Along with the win, Niimura was awarded the K-Cat Project Championship for her accomplishment.

The Battle of Trials 1[]

In May 2022, Niimura took on Sara Ichinose where the winner will be crowned as the inaugural KCGP Extreme Champion. Retired wrestler Ann Takase is appointed guest referee for the match. In the end, Niimura was unsuccessful in capturing the gold but gave Ichinose a beating that left her being stretchered out.

TM Fighting Project (2023-)[]

The Apology Series & Sequel[]

Niimura and Natsuki Yokoyama were the first performers featured in the newly founded indie pro-style catfight promotion. From day one, Niimura is firmly positioned as the face of TM Fighting Project according to the director who is a huge fan of her work. The first match between the two ended with Niimura being dominated. The sequel features a rematch and is much more competitive than the first.

Invasion: Japan vs USA[]

Niimura took on KAT from Dangerous Curves in a pro wrestling match. TM did consider pitting YUNA against Niimura but decided to go with KAT based on height and power for a more challenging opponent. Despite her small stature, Niimura showed resilience against the American redhead in a back-and-forth bout. Luck would soon turn on Niimura where YUNA got involved leading to an utter beatdown by the DC girls.

A Newcomer Appears[]

The last match for 2023 sees Niimura against a debuting Sakura Tsuji in a battle of heels.

Dangerous Curves (2023)[]

Tokyo 2023 Collaboration[]

It was confirmed by Dangerous Curves that Niimura will partake in a collaboration featuring her, Yokoyama, Kat Van Wilder, YUNA, Reina Matsumura, and Saebom in April 2023.

DC Unscripted[]

In her DC debut, Niimura took YUNA in her first unscripted match ending with an impressive victory (9-4). Her match with KAT was more difficult resulting in a rough beginning but would catch up to even the score with a little help from a rare low blow. In the end, however, Niimura was defeated by the redhead American via a dragon sleeper (5-4).
